A bit about me

I’m Dakota Owens, a Junior Graphic Design student at the University of Southern Mississippi in Gulfport, MS. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve built a strong foundation in design principles and honed my ability to ignite creativity. Whether it’s through typography, color theory, or layout composition, I’m passionate about using visual elements to effectively convey a brand’s message. As I continue to learn and grow, I look forward to applying my skills in professional contexts, creating compelling designs that resonate with audiences.

MY INSPIRATIONS

As someone who finds inspiration in all things retro, I find joy for all things nostalgia. Whether it’s the charm of road trips, the thrill of thrifting, or the allure of vintage electronics, there’s something magical about revisiting the past. And those quaint small town beach cities? They evoke a sense of community that truly fuels my creativity.

Now let’s dive into your inspirations to put together a design identity for your brand and create something that is truly fantastic!
